Scarpets Friulani with African Wax 
Today, as then, in San Daniele del Friuli these shoes continue to be made according to the ancient Friulian tradition. Cape2Milano has had a series produced with the famous African Wax fabric (cotton treated with wax). Hand-stitched with waxed thread and with the sole quilted with thread to avoid glue and ensure greater breathability. Each pair of scarpets or papusse (as they are called in Friuli) is different from the other and no two are perfectly alike. Unique. Totally handcrafted.
